New MLA Blog

Thanks to the heads-up from the MLA-Phil news blog, I see that the MLA's newest blog MLA Connections is up and running with an introductory post from MLA President Mary Ryan. We've been hearing for a couple of months that this blog was under development. I'm glad to see it starting up. I've already added the blog feed and the comments feed to my feed reader.

The blog is so new that it doesn't yet have a link on the MLA Web 2.0 Resources page. This page is a great resource if you are interested in how social networking is being used by MLA's sections, chapters, and SIGs as well as the NN/LM regions and state medical library associations. Thanks to Melissa for making sure the Midwest Chapter's 2.0 tools are listed.

And speaking of blogs, your intrepid blog editor needs to post this to "claim" the blog on Technorati:
