Earlier this afternoon, Program Committee member Linda DeMuro sent out a "last call" on the chapter discussion list to remind us that the deadline for submitting proposals for contributed papers and posters for the 2009 Midwest Chapter/MLA Conference is Friday, July 31st. Hey, that's just two weeks away! Please consider sharing the wealth of your professional experience with us at the conference this year. The conference theme is "Seek, Explore, Discover" in light of the fact that our host city is named in honor of Italian explorer Christopher Columbus.
Contributed papers will be presented on Sunday, October 4 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Posters will be on display on Monday, October 5 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Presenters should be available to discuss their posters from 11:00 a.m. to noon on October 5.
