Getting to Columbus:
As Ohio's capital and the 15th largest city in the United States, Columbus is within 550 miles of half of the U.S. population. With five highways running through the city, it couldn't be easier to get around.
Flying is just as easy, as Port Columbus International Airport is just a few minutes from downtown and is served by 10 airlines and their regional affiliates providing nearly 400 daily arrivals and departures to 49 airports in the U.S. and Canada. Carriers include Air Canada, American, Continental, Delta, Midwest/Connect, Northwest, Southwest, United and US Airways.

Shuttle Services: The downtown shuttle from Port Columbus can be of great service. It doesn't matter if you call ahead or just walk right up, with shuttles operating approximately every 20 minutes you can be in the heart of the city in no time. Estimated one-way fare is $18.

Taxi Services: You'll find taxis available on demand (no reservation required) in the ground transportation area of the airport terminal on a 24-hour basis. The electronic meter will be activated to compute your fare. The approximate fare into downtown Columbus is $25.00.
Rental Car Companies: Featuring eight on-site car rental agencies, Port Columbus gives you the selection you want with the convenience you need. And with check-in counters on the ground floor of the parking garage, you won't have to brave the elements to pick up your car.

COTA: Port Columbus is served by Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) public bus service, available to take you almost anywhere in the city. Schedules and rates are listed on the COTA Website.
Downtown Area Restaurants and Attractions:
Downtown Columbus is everybody’s neighborhood. Nationwide Insurance, Huntington Bank and the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey team are just a few who call downtown “home.” At 2.2 square miles, Downtown Columbus is one of the largest downtowns in the country. Downtown boasts five theaters, the Ohio Statehouse, an amphitheater, a hockey arena, various parks, and numerous can’t-miss performances and events.
