“Uh well, dance all night, play all day – Don’t let nothin’ get in the way!
Dance all night, keep the beat – Don’t you worry ’bout two left feet!
Shake it up, Shake it up, oo yeah, Shake it up, Shake it up!”
– Ric Ocasek of The Cars
We’re shaking things up by making some adjustments in the Midwest Conference program. Most of the conference registrations are in now and we have been working out the details of the Jam Sessions on Sunday, October 7th. Please note the following adjustments.
Based on low registration the following three Jam Session tables have been cancelled: Anything Goes, Budget Realities, and Organization Support for Doing & Publishing Research. In addition, the MLA Research Training Institute – One Year In and MLA Research Works in Progress: The MLA RTI Participant Perspective have been merged into one table. Both topics will still be covered. Mark MacEachern will lead the discussion during first 20-25 minutes and Margaret Hoogland and Liz Suelzer will lead the second 20-25 minutes.
Due to their popularity, two topics, Emerging Technology Trends and Systematic Reviews will now have two tables each.
If you are registered for a Jam Session table you should have received an email to discuss these changes. If you have any questions, please contact Mary Miles at firstname.lastname@example.org.
