The Renaissance Hotel is the site of our 2004 conference. It is located at 701 East Adams Street, Springfield, IL 62701 (Phone: 1 217-544-8800 Fax: 1 217-544-9607). A complimentary shuttle bus will pick up guests at the Springfield Airport or local Amtrak station.

Room rate for the conference is $82.00 + 10% tax. This rate includes parking and is the same for 1-4 occupants. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. Parking is $5.00 per day if you are not a registered guest of the Renaissance. Valet parking is available for $6.00/day.

When calling for reservations, please tell them that you are attending the Midwest Chapter/MLA conference. The special conference rate expires after September 15, 2004.
